Now, in regards to Attachment Theory Integration.
First realized by John Bowlby in 1944. And later finding deeper basis through the work of Mary Ainsworth. Our knowledge of Human Relationship Attachment Theory has found a stronghold in modern science today. Emotional and Psychological findings have ushered in an age where we can identify and resolve both trauma, and areas of growth in our personal lives. Each person has an attachment across a spectrum of what is now known as Organized, or the Disorganized attachment group.
At Longship Coaching, our founder and Owner, Nick Towery, with over 13 years of sales experience, and over 20 years of public speaking experience, set out with a new goal in mind. Building and creating return customers, and nurturing trust and effective communication. With a thirst for knowledge over years, he came across Attachment Theory in 2019 to better understand himself and his personal relationships. What he found was over a year of reading and study, which continues to this day. He then began to implement his newfound knowledge into his daily life and interactions. Studying the words, cues, and behaviors of not only family and friends... but harnessing and blending this knowledge into his sales positions.
Like many, as a teen, Nick found himself in jobs starting from the bottom, then quickly evolving into higher positions and responsibility. Never unwilling to face new challenges, he grew in every position. Finding himself in Assistant Management positions, then covering and assisting an entire portion of a state through business accounts. Then finding his way into Management positions. There has not been much that he has not seen, or experienced first hand. He found himself for years, and still, as the "go-to guy" by friends, coworkers, as well as previous employers. Believing its best to be the last guy out of the door before locking up shop.
The honor of being that "go-to guy" found Nick sharing his experience, with most looking for answers as to how he was able to create his customer base, set sales records, relate to his customers and find them coming back for more, with an almost family-like sense of loyalty.
By creating Longship Coaching, Nick is living out his vision. To bridge the gap. To strengthen and identify a need in not only our personal relationships, but our sales relationships as well. Believing that the ethics of any sales position is ever evolving. And as the groundfloor has shifted, we too must evolve with them. While the emphasis of Longship Coaching is to assist in forging the relationship between customer prioritized sales ethics and engagement. We do not limit ourselves to only business and sales.
Nick is prepared to speak, share materials, and engage in any platform to share his understanding of Attachment Theory and Integration into the realm of personal relationship coaching. Subjects include our familial, romantic and every day friendships. We see the entire landscape of coaching here at Longship. The unwavering view of our founder, resonates as the goal of our program, and our mentorship, as one vision alone.
